Fibreglass render mesh white IBBTherm M160 1x50m
Fibreglass render mesh white IBBTherm M160 1x50m
High-quality fiberglass facade mesh designed for reinforcing the basecoat in ETICS (External Thermal Insulation Composite Systems). The product effectively distributes stresses, increases resistance to cracking, and significantly improves the durability and stability of the entire insulation system.
The mesh is made of fiberglass yarns coated with a special alkali-resistant (AR) impregnation, ensuring long-term performance in cement-based adhesives and basecoats.
Product Advantages:
- high resistance to cracking and impact damage,
- excellent dimensional stability and easy handling,
- compatible with common ETICS mortars,
- durable alkali-resistant coating,
- optimal balance between performance and cost.
Application:
- ETICS façade insulation systems (EPS, XPS, mineral wool),
- reinforcement of adhesive and base coats under thin-layer renders,
- façade renovation and refurbishment works,
- strengthening areas exposed to mechanical stress,
- residential, multi-family, commercial, and industrial buildings.

Installation Technology (ETICS):
1.Substrate preparation
The surface of the insulation boards must be even, stable, and free from dust or loose particles.
2.Application of base coat
Apply a layer of adhesive/base coat mortar onto the insulation boards using a smooth or notched trowel (approx. 3–4 mm).
3.Embedding the mesh
Press the fiberglass mesh into the fresh mortar, working from top to bottom, ensuring it is flat and free of wrinkles.
4.Overlaps
Adjacent mesh strips must overlap by at least 10 cm (minimum 15 cm at corners).
5.Finishing layer
Cover the embedded mesh with an additional thin layer of mortar so that the mesh is completely concealed.
6.Curing
After proper curing of the reinforced layer, priming and application of the thin-coat render can proceed.
